Arden Leone, originally from Geneva, IL, began studying dance at the age of five. She went on to train with many professional companies throughout Chicagoland including Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Visceral Dance Chicago and The Joffrey Ballet. Arden was also a member of Extensions Dance Company, a pre-professional company directed by Lizzie MacKenzie.
Arden graduated Cum Laude from Southern Methodist University in May 2017 with a BFA in Dance Performance and a BA in Advertising. While at SMU, Arden had the opportunity to perform works by choreographers such as Paul Taylor, Adam Hougland, José Limón, Robert Dekkers and Danny Buraczeski along with many others.
After graduation, Arden was selected as one of fourteen dancers from around the world to join EDGE Dance Company, based in London, England. Throughout the 2017-2018 season, she toured, performed and led workshops with EDGE throughout the UK and Europe while earning her Masters in Contemporary Dance from the London Contemporary Dance School.
After returning to the United States, Arden joined Bruce Wood Dance as an apprentice. She had the opportunity to perform with the company during the Fall 2018 performance ‘All Bruce.’ Arden relocated to Nashville in 2019.
As a dance teacher and choreographer, her choreography has been featured at Southern Methodist University, Dallas DanceFest 2017 and in Familicão, Portugal.
