Blue Moves is happy to participate again in Tennessee Women’s Theatre Project’s Women’s Work, with three company works on the Dance Night program and another independent work by Blue Moves Company member Brandy Rogers. On Dance Night, Friday, September 7th, Blue Moves will perform Ashlyn Cianciolo’s “The Fine Line”, Kevana West’s “Latency” and Amanda Cantrell Roche’s “Braid”. We’ll be sharing the stage with several other local choreographers and dance companies, so we hope you’ll come out and support this event and the rest of the festival as well. We are also currently envisioning our next season, which will involve celebrating 30 years of Blue Moves in 2019! Though that major celebration may be a bit off, we hope there will be additional, informal performances between now and then. We are dreaming big, and would love your support in helping us actualize an entertaining, thought-provoking event that takes a journey through 30 years of our tribe, as well as looking forward. Our goal is to triple our number of monthly donors, as this allows us to financially plan long-term, and keep ticket prices low.
